Ian Richardson

Ian Richardson is Senior Vice President of Operations for Blue Origin where he is responsible for the supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and production across all sites for New Shepherd and New Glenn rockets, engines, in-space systems, and the lunar lander.

Richardson, a Space Camp alumnus and Right Stuff Award recipient began his career at Bechtel Oil Gas & Chemical. He worked for Bechtel Power Corporation and Tri Alpha Energy before joining Space Exploration Technologies (Space X) where he was director of production.  He joined Blue Origin in August 2023.

He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Organizational Communications from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
