Give the gift of Space Camp®

Give the gift of Space Camp® by donating to General Space Camp Scholarships.

At Space Camp, our STEM based (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education camps use the excitement of U.S. and international space programs to ignite our trainee’s interest in STEM learning. Our unique program lineup of Space Camp, Aviation Challenge®, U.S. Cyber Camp®, and Robotics Camp® offer real world applications and are a proven work force development tool. Trainees participate in a multi-disciplinary learning environment focused on leadership, teamwork, and the importance of exploration in a variety of career fields.

Space Camp scholarships launch the explorers of tomorrow by offering this unique experience to a trainee that otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend. Donations of all amounts are welcome, and each donation helps to send students to a camp experience that can impact them for a lifetime.

A donation of any amount is welcome! Want to fund a full scholarship? A donation of $2,000 funds a full scholarship to a weeklong camp. Donate today to impact the explorers of tomorrow!

Adopt an Artifact

Adopt a piece of history this holiday season! Artifacts at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center play a vital role in our mission as they tell a story through science, engineering, mathematics, and technology feats of past generations. These national treasures not only teach the public about our past, but also play a large role in the education mission of our space, aviation, robotic and cyber camps.

The Adopt an Artifact Program is your opportunity to adopt a piece of history and help us as we honor our past by preserving our historical artifacts of the past and ignite the space stories of the future. Your donation will assist us in our mission of preserving, conserving, and restoring these treasures for future generations so they can better understand the history of space exploration that landed America on the moon. Adoption kits start at $25 and are the perfect gift this holiday season.

Artifacts available to be adopted are:

  • Saturn V (replica)
  • Pathfinder Shuttle
  • F-14A Tomcat
  • A-12 Oxcart
  • Shuttle Training Aircraft
  • Mobile Quarantine Facility
  • Skylab (indoor)
  • Jupiter Rocket
  • Jupiter C/Juno I Rocket
  • Mercury Redstone Rocket

Support an educator with a scholarship

Give the gift of Space Camp by donating to General Educator Scholarships.

Experience the authenticity of simulated space missions so you can teach with authority and inspiration!

Step out of the box and into mission training to learn methods for delivering the excitement of space exploration in your classroom with Space Academy® for Educators.

The weeklong program includes authentic astronaut training simulators and activities developed to promote learning in a classroom setting. The curriculum includes NASA-inspired lesson plans and is correlated to the National Science Education Standards.

Trainees in Space Academy for Educators earn up to 45 hours of Continuing Education credit and educators get access to their own website with lesson plans, standards and tips needed to adapt many of the workshop activities to individual class environments.

Museum field trips make a great gift!

A field trip to the museum provides inspiration and a STEM experience to local students. However, under-resourced Title I schools and groups are finding it challenging to find funding for exciting out of school opportunities. Since most Title I organizations have policies requiring all students to participate in school activities, funding must be in place before a field trip can be scheduled. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation and the Mad Scientist Bash committee initiated a Museum Field Trip Scholarship Fund with proceeds from the annual Bash. In 2024, over 1100 participants from Title I schools and groups enjoyed a day in the museum thanks to this fund.

A gift of any amount helps ensure more underserved groups and Title I schools can visit the museum in 2025.

Make a lasting gift

Our Legacy Society honors individuals who strengthen the next generation of scientists, astronauts, and engineers by providing future support to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation through an estate gift.

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation’s Legacy Society recognizes alumni and friends who have included a gift to the Education Foundation in their long-term planning. These gifts take many forms, including bequests, charitable trusts, and beneficiary designations.

Many of these gifts offer significant financial and tax benefits, often complementing an individual’s overall estate planning. Gifts of any size and types are appreciated and help the Education Foundation fulfill its mission.

If you have already included us in your plans, we would be honored to include you as a member of our Legacy Society. You always have the right to be included as an anonymous member.

If you have questions about the Legacy Society or including the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation in your estate plans, please contact us at [email protected].

Inspire future generations

Take a seat to inspire all current and future generations to come! With your selected gift, you have the choice for your name or dedication to be inscribed on one of our new auditorium seats in the Space Camp Operations Center or on a bench located in our park.

By taking a seat, you are helping launch, support, and invest in the future of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp.

When you name an auditorium seat or a bench throughout the park, 100% of your donation goes to support the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp’s immersive classrooms. This naming plaque will remain attached to a theater seat either as long as the theater seat exists or for the length of the naming agreement.

We could not do this without you, and now you can mark your contribution to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation by “taking a seat.”

Adopt a Space Shuttle Pathfinder panel

Adopt a panel of the Space Shuttle Pathfinder! The Pathfinder Puzzle consists of 500 3D printed pieces that are connected together to form the outer shell of the orbiter.

The panels representing the exterior shell of the Space Shuttle have been attached to the existing historical Pathfinder test artifact’s steel armature and finished to themed entertainment standards for aerospace replicas. This Shuttle was recently reinstalled atop the existing rocket booster stack on display.

Help us restore the Pathfinder piece by piece by naming a piece of the Pathfinder Puzzle today!
