Annie Armstrong: Sarah Sizemore’s first real foray into the world of theatre was when she slightly exaggerated on her resume and accidentally ended up teaching high school theatre with zero qualifications. She faked it until she made it, and in the process developed a deeper love of the art and the teaching profession. While having only stepped out from behind the scenes twice onto the stage, once in ‘Sound of Music’ and once as Malvolio in ‘Twelfth Night’, she is incredibly excited to get to do so a third time for this production, where she gets to combine her passions and support education in such a meaningful way.

Sam Kennedy: Art Walthall’s recent roles, all with Theatre Huntsville, include Dr. Westfeldt (Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors), Steve Hubbell (A Streetcar Named Desire), William Shakespeare (Something Rotten), Orin Scrivello, DDS (Little Shop of Horrors), Sir Bedevere/Arthur understudy (Spamalot), Lloyd Dallas (Noises Off), the Black Stache (Peter and the Starcatcher), and Comet (The Eight: Reindeer Monologues). Other favorite roles include Mr. Wormwood (LMP’s Matilda), St. Jimmy (LMP’s American Idiot), Wilbur Turnblad (LMP’s Hairspray), and Riff Raff (Renaissance’s The Rocky Horror Show). He can often be found watching terrible movies with his wife, dogs, and cat.

Eleanor Bell: Brianna Bond got her BA in Performing Arts from the University of South Alabama. She is a proud SAG-AFTRA member, having made her television debut as a Body for the gameshow ‘The Cube’. She also toured with the National Theatre for Children in 2018. She has done multiple shows for various community theatre companies. Previous appearances on a Huntsville stage include ‘Prince of Egypt’ as Ensemble, ‘Twelfth Night’ as Viola/Cesario, ‘Sound of Music’ as a Nun, ‘Moriarty’ as Irene Adler, ‘The Book of Will’ as Alice, ‘Spamalot’ as Concorde/Laker Girl, and ‘Clue’ as Miss Scarlet. Before taking the stage professionally, she worked at the Space and Rocket Center for several years, being trained in several aspects of camp, ranging from Space, to Ropes, to MCC floor, to Aviation Challenge (where she was aptly given the callsign Drama). Even further back in time, she attended Space Camp as a child and is proud to have come full circle once more! She thanks God for this opportunity and her family and friends for their constant encouragement.

Frank Franklyn: Robert Jones is a relative newcomer to the stage with only 3 years of experience. Predominantly performing with Theatre Huntsville, he has been Duke Orsino in a Y2K inspired interpretation off Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’, Professor James Moriarty and others in Ken Ludwig’s ‘Moriarty’, and Marcus in Lauren Gunderson’s ‘The Book of Will’, along with ensemble roles and crew positions on several other productions. He was previously an employee of the US Space and Rocket Center, where he portrayed Buzz Aldrin for reenactments of the planting of the US flag on the moon for Apollo 11’s 50th Anniversary. He is honored to return to the Davison Center to perform a friend’s script for this evening’s event.

Giuseppe Giuliani: Kris Hamlin is honored to be a part of such a hilarious and talented cast. He will soon be seen as Kevin J. in Theatre Huntsville’s ‘Come From Away’, and he has recently been seen as Andrew McNair in ‘1776’, Pablo in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’, Leaf Coneybear in ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’, Shylock in ‘Something Rotten’, and Skip Snip/Ensemble in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. He would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for making him the performer that he is today.

Laika Volkova: Naomi Howard is excited to perform at the Space & Rocket Center, where she has spent countless hours. As a child, she loved to marvel at the technology on display and ponder the miracle of space travel… before scampering off to ride Space Shot as many times as she could. She hopes this fundraiser will provide the opportunity for more rambunctious children to make their own joyful memories at the Huntsville S&RC.

Madame Minette Martineaux: Elaine Hubbard has performed, directed, designed, and choreographed award-winning shows for most of the area’s theatre companies. She holds a BS degree in Theatre Arts with emphasis on design and directing. She has served as president of Huntsville Community Chorus Association and Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater and Academy. Her acting, directing and design credits include Steel Magnolias, Spamalot, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, Into The Woods, Mamma Mia, A Christmas Carol, Oklahoma!, The King and I, Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, Annie, Oliver, West Side Story, 42nd Street and many others. Elaine is a recipient of the prestigious Virginia Hammill Simms award for outstanding contribution to the arts in Huntsville.

Otto vonBraun: Akshay Ahuja is a comedic actor and a twice removed cousin of the Genie from Aladdin. Realizing that biscuits and butter chicken could not keep him happy ALL the time, he started performing eight years ago. In his free time, Akshay is an active member in the arts scene, volunteering with several community theater organizations as well as charities. Additionally, in 2019 he successfully crowd sourced funds to produce his own comedy special which was on Amazon Prime for 16 months.

Ned Bucklee: An award-winning actor and director, Bill Hubscher was most recently on stage as Ben Franklin in Theatre Huntsville’s production of 1776. He considers himself fortunate to have worked with many Huntsville theatre groups over the years, including Independent Musical Theatre’s Ragtime (Tateh), Theatre Huntsville’s productions of Peter and the Starcatcher (Leonard Aster), SPAMALOT! (King Arthur) and The Book of Will (Henry). Other local productions include: RENT and 1776 (for IMP); Glen Garry Glenross, Jeffrey and Spring Awakening (for Renaissance Theatre); Laughter on the 23rd Floor, The Crucible, Angels in America, A Christmas Story, and Terra Nova (for Theatre Huntsville); A Christmas Carol and The Great Cross-Country Race (for Fantasy Playhouse). Local directorial credits include the spectacular casts of American Idiot (for Lyrique Music Productions), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (TH), The Last Five Years, and The Woman in Black (both for RT). Professional theatrical credits: The Lost Colony (directed by Terrence Mann), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Springer Opera House), and the international tour of Grease with Frankie Avalon (Phoenix Entertainment). While he spends his days as a Timeline Change Officer for science operations on the International Space Station, his favorite role will always be devoted husband to Lorie and proud father of his two grown children.

Growing up in Guntersville, Carl’s free time was mostly spent at The Whole Backstage theater or playing and running Dungeons & Dragons games. He moved to the Rocket City to pursue a tech career, but by night he’s still very active in the local role-playing game community.

You can currently find Carl in the main cast of The Castle Council, an improv comedy show disguised as a live D&D game, along with Brianna Bond and Kris Hamlin. Currently at Shenanigans, the show has been continuously running in Huntsville for 4 years. You can also join Carl’s table for one of his live games at local RPG related events like Nerdzilly’s Halloween RPG Fest, or jump into one of his games at conventions like the HSV EXPO.

Cas Townsend is thrilled to be a part of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Mystery at the Museum fundraiser. While not their first live stage production, having acted in several plays and musicals before, this is Cas’ debut as a stage manager. They want to applaud the cast for all the hard work put into making this production a success (and an additional thank you to their cat, Berlioz, for post-rehearsal snuggles).
