Lisa DeVries

My name is Lisa DeVries and I attended Space Academy as a camper in 1990. I also worked as a counselor for Advanced Space Academy in 1998 and was inducted into the Space Camp Hall of Fame in 2008. I am currently supporting the Artemis program at the Kennedy Space Center. I work in Safety and more specifically in the Launch Control Center on the Safety Console. I will be on station in the Firing Room supporting the launch countdown when we launch Artemis II.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman notes that his journey started at Space Camp during an opening statement at his Senate Confirmation Hearing.
