Avi Turetsky

Avi Turetsky is a Partner and Head of the Quantitative Research Group at Ares Management, a global investment management firm, where he oversees the Quantitative Portfolio Strategies and Research & Data Science teams. Previously, he was COO of the European private equity business of the Riverside Company. He is also a Board Member of the Defined Contribution Alternatives Association.

Academically, Turetsky is an Engaged Management Scholar Research Fellow at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a member of the Research Council of the Institute for Private Capital at the University of North Carolina. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of the INSEAD Private Equity Initiative and the EDHEC Infrastructure Institute. He holds a B.S. from Bar-Ilan University in Economics, an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Ph.D. in Management from Case Western.

He is the proud father of a multi-time space camp alumna and is a frequent visitor to Huntsville.
